Everything happens in AWS CloudShell, which has Docker: nothing to install. Your tasks run in the default VPC, with the provided security group and execution role. Two conditions void the validation: a security group open on ports other than 8080, and more than two tasks requested by the service.
Tip
When a service does not respond, the way it fails is a clue: a dropped connection means nothing is listening at that address, a timeout almost always means a firewall is dropping the request. And remember source ~/.bashrc if CloudShell fell asleep.
