Important
Four prohibitions, and the validation checks them: current employees stay active in the directory and can still log in to the dock server, the former employee is disabled and not deleted (their files stay in their name), and no work file is deleted. The sandbox lives for four hours.
Tip
The first source that knows a name wins: files comes before sss. A revocation in the directory therefore does nothing as long as a local account carries the same name. Revoke first, migrate afterwards, and prove every refusal with a real login attempt.
