Important
Four prohibitions, and the validation checks them: no SELinux boolean turned on to silence a denial, no home-made policy module and no domain left permissive, the archives cache repaired rather than removed from its fstab, and the archived declarations intact. Chapter 8 restarts the machine: your terminal closes for one to two minutes, reopen it from the lab page. The sandbox lives four hours.
Tip
"Permission denied" for root, while the file's permissions allow it: it is almost always SELinux. Read ausearch -m avc before touching anything, and look first for a wrong label, not for a rule to add.
