Important
The ERP connector must start at the beginning as at the end, and curl must not move anywhere: the validation checks both. A global dnf update would fix the vulnerability and stop invoicing in the same command. Freezing a package protects you from a regression but leaves you exposed if a vulnerability hits it: the decision is documented, it is not taken silently. The sandbox lives for three hours.
Tip
Learn the pairs rather than isolated commands: rpm -q and dpkg -l, rpm -qf and dpkg -S, dnf check-update and apt-cache policy, dnf versionlock and apt-mark hold. And write down every version at the moment you read it: a remediation sheet is filled in with versions you read, never versions you assume.
